Design and Estimation Engineer (CAD and 3D Visualization)

Design and Visualization

• Prepare accurate, to-scale 2D floor plans and layouts in AutoCAD (furniture, workstations, circulation aisles, exits, and support areas), to the required space standards.
• Produce 3D models, high-quality renders, and short walkthrough videos showing existing conditions, proposed enhancements, improved arrangements, and after-implementation views.
• Develop layout and space-planning concepts from actual measured dimensions and project requirements.
• Prepare clean presentation packs (PDF and slides) and MP4 videos suitable for client submission.

Estimation (Business Development support)

• Prepare quantity take-offs and bills of quantities (BOQ) from drawings.
• Develop cost estimates for construction, renovation, and fit-out projects.

• Support the Business Development team with tender and proposal pricing, material and supplier cost research, and estimation documentation.

• Coordinate with engineering and procurement to validate quantities and costs.

• Education: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years in CAD design and/or construction estimation.
• Strong AutoCAD skills (2D drafting and layout).
• 3D modeling and rendering with one or more of: SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Lumion, or Enscape. 
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good sense of scale, space planning, and presentation; attention to detail; able to meet deadlines.
• Languages: Proficiency in both national languages and Excellent communication skills in English

Desirable

• Video and animation skills (Lumion walkthroughs, After Effects, or Premiere).
• Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator for presentation polish.
• Experience across office, commercial, fit-out, or construction projects.
• Revit / BIM and dedicated estimation software.
