Request for Proposals for Co-Investment in Commercial Food Safety Laboratory, Soil-Testing

CRS invites proposals from legally registered Afghan companies to establish or expand commercially sustainable food-safety laboratory, soil- and fertilizer-testing, agricultural advisory, and export-quality services. Proposed solutions should include LC-MS or comparable analytical testing capacity, a credible pathway toward ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, and affordable services that help smallholder farmers and agricultural enterprises—particularly in the grape, raisin, and pomegranate value chains—improve productivity, quality, traceability, food safety, and market access.

CRS anticipates awarding one matching grant of up to USD 190,000 for a period of up to 24 months. Applicants must provide a verifiable cash co-investment of at least 50% of the grant amount.
