Assignment Title: Capacity-Building Training on Road Design Using Autodesk Civil 3D
1. Project Background
The AKF-A Infrastructure Sector has extensive experience in implementing and supporting infrastructure development across its operational provinces. Over the past two years, the infrastructure team has implemented 296 water supply projects and 178 other infrastructure projects, including roads, culverts, bridges, irrigation canals, intakes, reservoirs, solar pumping systems, flood protection walls, public buildings, electrification systems, and greenhouses. Building on this experience, the proposed capacity-building training will strengthen the Engineering Department’s expertise in road design using Autodesk Civil 3D, particularly for roads connecting villages and linking villages to district centers. The training will support improved design quality, consistency, and efficiency in the planning and development of road infrastructure.
