Bu Ali Rehabilitation and Aid Network (BARAN) is a nongovernmental, non-political and independent organization. BARAN has been established in 27.7.2006 registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEc), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Education (MoE) , Ministry of labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD), Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and Ministry of Women Affairs (MoWA) in order to deliver standard health care, social and educational services including conducting researches. Special attention is given for the community development by promoting capacity building programs.
The cluster Supervisor is responsible to monitor & supervise the implementation of basic package of health services in defined health facilities / cluster. He/she is also responsible to improve knowledge & practice of the medical staff through supervision & on the job training regarding the diagnosis & treatment of common diseases. The duties are carried out with the consultation of project manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise the whole activities carryout in the health facilities of related cluster.
Ensure the diagnosis, treatment of the patient done according to the national treatment guidelines.
Ensure that all registration & medical records system follows according to the guidelines.
In cooperation with the project manager oversee the planning & implementation of BPHS in the relevant area.
Provide on the job training to staff of health facilities to staff of health facility in defined cluster.
Ensure quality in projects & program through feedback mechanism.
Provide assistance & guidance to the community mobilizer to set up locale health shura committee (LHC) in the community.
Ensure that the cost recovery system is being implemented according to the policy and procedure.
Prepare monthly activity report.
Give advice and support to the project & to the program staff in related tasks.
Maintain close working relation with key players, MoPH, NGOs & UN agencies in the target area.
Supports & supervise the head of the clinics in the overall running of the clinics.
Support & supervise the doctors & ensure that the protocols are followed.
Consultation with the head of the health facility and other medical staff on their difficult and serious cases.
Provide job awareness and on the job training for new medical staff working in BHC and CHC.
Supervise the sanitation and hygiene in the clinics, particularly the waste disposal systems.
Report any early indication of an epidemics or public health problem.
Ensure that drug utilization and consumption is based on the treatment guideline.
Minimum Medical University Degree
Certificate in English language.
Excellent communication skills Dari, Pashto and English.
At least three years’ experience in the same field.
Excellent computer knowledge MS Word, Excel , PowerPoint
Honest and trustworthy.
Highly organized with keen attention to detail and ability to prioritized multiple responsibilities negotiation and conflict solving skills
Strong presentation and communication skills oral and written in Dari, Pashto and English.
Must be proactive being a member of Management
Must be patient diplomatic and professional
Ability carry out responsibilities and make decisions independently
Must have strong facilitation skills and work as a team player
