About HADAAF:

HADAAF is a National NGO, established in April 2006, registered with MoE under registration No. 514. HADAAF is working with Health, WASH, Nutrition, livelihood and Child protection but mainly involved, working in health/nutrition sector since 2007. HADAAF have experience in implementation of BPHS and other vertical health support projects of long and short duration. HADAAF implemented BPHS in Nuristan and Zabul provinces in partnership with IMC (2007-2011) and Cordaid (2013-2019) respectively. HADAAF also implemented long term health support projects (Support to CBHC, PPP, Nutrition, integrated WASH and Nutrition, malaria/TB control and capacity buildings of health staff) in Urozgan, Nuristan, and Kunar provinces. Currently HADAAF is implementing health projects (Mobile Health Teams, Mobile Health and Nutrition teams, Fixed PHC, CBNP, C-WIFS & MNP and Covid-19 response support) projects in Nangarhar, Balkh, Khost, Paktia, Ghazni and Helmand provinces.

HADAAF has adapted a strategic approach of partnership and collaboration throughout its program implementation. Thus far, HADAAF has implementing projects/programs in partnership with MoPH, IMC, UNICEF, WHO, FHI 360, Health Net TPO, UNDP, Save the Children International, Swedish Committee for Afghanistan, Johanniter International Assistance and Cordaid in Nuristan, Urozgan, Ghor, Farah, Kunar, Laghman Kabul and Khost provinces. This collaborative approach has enabled HADAAF to get access to hard-to-reach areas and implement quality service delivery. 

 

Job Description:

  1. Overall management of the projects at the central level and to guide and lead the project technically.
  2. To carry out frequent monitoring and supportive supervision visits to project sites.
  3. Analyzing of monitoring checklist and prepare feedback to project staff.
  4. To provide data for health sector management team for proposal writing.
  5. Develop the scope of services and operating procedures including monitoring tools and forms.
  6. Develop and oversee monthly and annual work-plans and set M&E indicator of the project activities.
  7. Development of uniformed checklists for provinces and projects for monitoring and supervision.
  8. Working with provinces on the capacity building of provincial team in Monitoring and Evaluation of projects
  9. To develop training materials and tools and guidelines.
  10. To develop job description to project staff.
  11. To Maintain and update the database of HMIS and EPI, also prepare project technical progress report.
  12. Coordination with MoPH, UN agencies, partner organizations and other stakeholders for effective implementation of projects/programs.
  13. To maintain co-operation with other units, authorities, institution and NGOs.
  14. To be able to communicate the culture sensitive issues in a culturally accepted manners to the trainees.
  15. Submission of program updates, inception, monthly, quarterly and final project reports based on agreed timelines.
  16. To undertake other tasks/responsibilities as requested by the program Manager
 

Job Requirements:

  1. University degree at least Bachelor’s in health-related field (MD) from recognized institutions, Master degree in related field is preferred 
  2. 4 Years’ experience in related field.
  3. Good computer knowledge of MS Office Packages.
  4. Good Communication and Report Writing Skills in English and one of National/Local Languages (Dari or Pashto).     
  5. Strong Communication, Problem Solving, Teamwork, Leadership and Management Skills.
  6. Travel to the different districts of Helmand Province.
