Education

Job Summary

Plan on time supply to all BPHS and EPHS HFs in Nimroz Province under the SAFE project.

Plan, supervise, and monitor daily EPI activities in health facilities and outreach sites.

Ensure the adequate availability of vaccines, cold chain equipment, and 60 % monthly vaccination supplies to HF.

Monitor and ensure proper vaccine storage, handling, and usage in compliance with MoPH guidelines.

Support EPI supervisor in monthly EPI report and tally sheet check and verification.

Provide on-the-job training and guidance to vaccinators on proper immunization techniques.

Conduct regular supervisory visits as per the monthly plan and provide feedback.

Collect, analyze, and report immunization data to higher levels in a timely manner.

Participate in polio campaigns and other national immunization days.

Coordinate with community health councils to raise public awareness on immunization.

Report immediately any Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFI).

Any other assigned tasks by PM and Technical Health manager.

Job Requirements

Medical Doctor degree certified by the relevant higher education authority in Afghanistan.

A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in the (EPI) or at a BPHS health facility is required.

Good knowledge of MoPH guidelines and policies related to immunization.

Strong supervisory, training, and community mobilization skills.

Good data collection, analysis, and reporting skills.

Computer literacy (MS Office) is an asset.
