Job Description:

TAGHEER is expanding its roster of field researchers (Mahram couples) for upcoming data collection assignments in Afghanistan. For more information on TAGHEER projects, please visit our website: www.tagheer.co

Selected candidates will be responsible for field-level data collection, including conducting household surveys, key informant interviews, and focus group discussions. The primary responsibility is to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of all collected data in line with project requirements.

Job Requirements:

Key Requirements & Qualifications

  • Mahram Couple: Applicants must apply as a two-person team (e.g., husband and wife, or brother and sister or father and daughter) who can work and travel together.
  • Education: Both individuals must have completed at least the 14th grade (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Proven track record in field-level data collection, community surveys, or related research activities.
  • Mobility: Availability to travel within your designated province and to Kabul if required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of cultural sensitivity.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in community settings and remote provincial areas.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, prior data collection experience in one or more of the following sectors is highly desirable:
