Job Description:

The Founding Program & Operations Coordinator is a high-impact "generalist" role responsible for building the operational and strategic foundation of a startup non-profit. This individual will manage everything from digital systems setup and regional research to partner vetting and grant support. We are looking for a "builder" who is as comfortable designing a project workflow as they are meeting with local stakeholders to vet implementation opportunities. This does come with an understanding that all meetings are conducted remotely.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Any certification in International Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Canva (design), Notion/Asana (project management), and CRM tools.
  • Writing Mastery: Ability to write professional-grade grant proposals and engaging donor content in English (local language proficiency is a plus).
  • Startup Mindset: Demonstrated ability to work independently

Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities (The Four Pillars):

1. Operational Architecture & Systems

  • Build the "Digital Office": Set up and maintain internal tools for task management, file sharing, and communication (e.g., Google Workspace, Notion, or Trello).
  • Documentation: Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for remote reporting, safety protocols, and administrative tasks.

2. Program Research & Partner Vetting

  • Regional Analysis: Conduct deep-dive research into local empowerment models and educational gaps in target regions.
  • Strategic Mapping: Identify, vet, and initiate contact with potential local NGOs, universities, and community leaders.
  • Curriculum Outlining: Draft initial program frameworks and training initiatives based on regional needs.

3. Growth & Fundraising Support

  • Grant Pipeline: Research international and local grant opportunities; track deadlines and eligibility requirements.
  • Communication & Storytelling: Draft compelling impact stories, donor updates, and "boilerplate" language for proposals and social media.

4. Launch & Tactical Support

  • Pilot Execution: Provide flexible support during program launches, including tool testing, document translation, and troubleshooting.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between the Founder and local implementation partners.
