Education

Job Summary

BELSS is seeking a qualified and motivated Finance & Administration Officer to support the daily financial and administrative operations of the organization. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accounting records, processing financial transactions, supporting payroll administration, managing office administration activities, maintaining asset records, and ensuring compliance with organizational procedures and controls.

The position will work under the supervision of the Finance & Administration Manager and contribute to the efficient management of financial and administrative systems across BELSS operations.

 

Job Requirements

• Maintain accounting records and supporting financial documentation.
• Process payments, advances, reimbursements, and settlements.
• Assist in payroll preparation and salary processing.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain cash and bank records.
• Support budget tracking and expenditure monitoring.
• Maintain asset registers and inventory records.
• Assist with procurement and vendor documentation.
• Ensure proper filing of financial and administrative records.
• Support office administration and facility management activities.
• Coordinate travel, accommodation, and logistical arrangements when required.
• Assist during internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Prepare periodic financial and administrative reports as assigned.

LANGUAGES:
Fluency in English and Dari/Pashto.

SKILLS:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience using accounting software.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
