Job Summary

Job Summary

The Electrical & Technical Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, supervising, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and technical infrastructure within commercial projects and facilities. The role ensures the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of electrical equipment and systems while supporting project implementation, maintenance activities, and technical improvements in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Systems Management

  • Design, install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
  • Monitor the performance of electrical installations and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure proper operation of power distribution systems, generators, transformers, panels, and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions.

Technical Operations

  • Provide technical support for commercial facilities and projects.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Analyze technical problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Ensure all technical activities comply with safety and quality standards.

Project Management

  • Assist in planning and executing electrical and technical projects.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

  • Develop preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and technical emergencies.
  • Maintain maintenance records and technical documentation.
  • Recommend equipment upgrades and replacement plans when necessary.

Health, Safety, and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to electrical systems and technical operations.
  • Promote safe working practices and participate in safety programs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical systems, technical operations, maintenance, or commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installations, power distribution systems, control systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience in planning, supervising, and monitoring electrical and technical projects.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and prepare electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and engineering software such as AutoCAD or similar technical design tools.
  • Ability to prepare technical reports, project documentation, and maintenance records.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and provide technical support when required.
