Job Description:
Position Overview:
The Field Officer ensures effective implementation, coordination, and monitoring of education projects. Key responsibilities span coordination, operations, HR, finance, procurement, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordination & Communication:
- Liaise with communities, government bodies, and stakeholders; attend sectoral meetings and share minutes.
- Maintain communication with Kabul office and field teams to align project activities.
Operations Management:
- Conduct field assessments, surveys, and data collection; propose improvements to project delivery.
- Travel to remote project sites as required.
- Develop M&E plans, monitor project progress, and compile data.
- Submit timely reports (weekly/monthly/annually) to Main office and government sectors.
Administrative Duties:
- Procure office supplies and oversee procurement logistics, including inventory and material distribution.
- Organize and scan documents.
- Sort photos and videos on a weekly basis and ensure consent forms are obtained from beneficiaries.
- Maintain project files.
- Manage staff attendance, timesheets, leave requests, and databases, ensuring compliance with HR policies.
- Prepare expense plans, process payments, and submit financial reports.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, management, or other related field (preferably in education)
- 3+ years’ experience in field operations, preferably in education/NGO sectors.
- Proficiency in Pashto, Dari, and English;
- Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, Email).
- Knowledge of local context;
- Ability to travel to remote areas.
