Job Description:
The Officer of the President's Office will play a pivotal role in providing high-level support to the President and ensuring effective coordination between the company and external stakeholders, including government entities and industry organizations. This position requires exceptional organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Support:
- Manage the President’s calendar, daily schedules, and meetings to ensure efficient use of time.
- Arrange travel plans, prepare agendas, and ensure timely follow-ups on all tasks.
- Draft, review, and prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations for the President.
- Government and Stakeholder Relations:
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with local government departments, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
- Represent the company in external meetings, events, and conferences, ensuring the company’s professional presence.
- Coordinate with relationships with government departments to secure support for the company’s business operations.
- Coordination of Events and Engagements:
- Follow up and respond to the policy and requirements of government departments, and organize and implement social activities led by government departments.
- Coordinate communicate of government officials and ensure high-standard hosting.
- Lead crisis communication efforts and support public relations management.
- Administrative Management:
- Oversee the operational efficiency of the President’s Office, including task prioritization and progress tracking.
- Handle sensitive and confidential matters professionally and with utmost discretion.
- Ensure the President’s directives are communicated effectively across relevant departments.
- Other Duties:
- Assist in any additional tasks or projects assigned by the President, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Job Requirements:
- Education
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Public Relations, Communications, Political Science, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in executive support, government relations, or a related leadership role, preferably in large organizations.
- Experience working in multicultural environments is a plus.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, Pashto/Dari, and proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools.
- Ability to handle high-pressure tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure confidentiality.
