Role Summary

We are looking for an operations professional to manage customs clearance, shipment handling, and delivery coordination across Afghanistan. The role involves liaising with authorities, vendors, drivers, and customers to ensure smooth, complaint, and timely logistics operations. The ideal candidate should have strong operational knowledge, coordination skills, and attention to detail.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

         Liaise and coordinate with Customs authorities at Kabul Airport, Kabul Customs, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs when required, ensuring timely and professional completion of customs procedures.

         Supervise labor and equipment for handling, loading, and delivery of shipments at Kabul Airport and other destinations.

         Arrange drivers and customs brokers for truck deliveries, including access requests for vehicle entry at delivery points.

         Monitor and follow up with vendors on shipment status, ensuring quality and timeliness of services.

         Prepare Proof of Delivery (POD) documents, survey shipments during offloading, and ensure accurate machinery is hired for operations.

         Collect signed and stamped PODs from customers, verifying delivery completion and shipment condition.

         Provide daily activity reports to management and relevant stakeholders.

         Support operational planning for delivery schedules, route optimization, and contingency arrangements.

         Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

         Strong knowledge of customs clearance and delivery operations.

         Experience in supervising labor, equipment, and vendors.

         Ability to prepare and verify documentation accurately.

         Good communication and coordination skills with authorities and stakeholders.

         Attention to detail and commitment to compliance and safety standards.

         Proficiency in reporting and record keeping.
