Job Description:

The Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of AWRO’s project staff, office premises, and project properties in the targeted districts.

 

TOR:

  • Monitor and control access to project offices, warehouses, and distribution sites
  • Ensure all staff, visitors, and vehicles are logged and authorized to enter the premises
  • Perform routine security checks and patrols around facilities
  • Report any suspicious activities, security incidents, or risks to the Admin Assistant and Security Focal Point
  • Support the field team during distributions in crowd control and site security
  • Ensure all gates, doors, and lights are secured during non-working hours
  • Assist with basic maintenance tasks and emergency support when required
  • Remain vigilant and professional during duty hours and follow AWRO’s code of conduct

Job Requirements:

  • At least primary education; secondary preferred
  • Prior experience as a security guard (NGO experience preferred)
  • Physically fit and capable of working long hours, including weekends and night shifts
  • Honest, reliable, and respectful
  • Good knowledge of the local area and local security context
  • Able to write and read basic reports in Dari or Uzbek
