Job Description:
The Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of AWRO’s project staff, office premises, and project properties in the targeted districts.
TOR:
- Monitor and control access to project offices, warehouses, and distribution sites
- Ensure all staff, visitors, and vehicles are logged and authorized to enter the premises
- Perform routine security checks and patrols around facilities
- Report any suspicious activities, security incidents, or risks to the Admin Assistant and Security Focal Point
- Support the field team during distributions in crowd control and site security
- Ensure all gates, doors, and lights are secured during non-working hours
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks and emergency support when required
- Remain vigilant and professional during duty hours and follow AWRO’s code of conduct
Job Requirements:
- At least primary education; secondary preferred
- Prior experience as a security guard (NGO experience preferred)
- Physically fit and capable of working long hours, including weekends and night shifts
- Honest, reliable, and respectful
- Good knowledge of the local area and local security context
- Able to write and read basic reports in Dari or Uzbek
